Celebrate the essence of a mother’s love this May at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai with Mother’s Recipes, an extraordinary Sunday brunch series at Opus. Four talented chefs from the hotel’s kitchen take center stage, recreating regional cuisines from bold, tamarind-rich gravies to wholesome mountain fare and fiery coastal specialties that have shaped their culinary journeys. These curated menus pay homage to the timeless recipes that mothers have lovingly passed down through generations; dishes that are as rich in flavour as they are in memories.
“At Four Seasons Mumbai, we believe food is one of the most meaningful ways to honour memories and relationships. This series is our heartfelt ode to the love and legacy passed from mother to child through every recipe,” says Nitesh Gandhi, General Manager.

Each Sunday in May, guests will traverse a new region of India. Kick-started on May 4 with the bold, tamarind-infused gravies of Madurai Meenakshi cuisine by Chef A. Prasad, guests can now look forward to the hearty, soul-soothing mountain fare from Kumaoni kitchens by Chef Pawan Rajput on May 11. On May 18, indulge in the rich, slow-cooked flavours of Champaran by Chef Sudarshan Gupta, and close the month on May 25 with the fiery, seafood-packed delights of Malvani cooking by Chef Shridhar Parab. Each dish is a celebration of love, tradition, and the unforgettable memories passed down from mother to child through generations.
