Here is an exclusive look at the new special edition Bentley especially curated for our market. This is perhaps the first time that a luxury carmaker has created a special edition for our market and there would be in total 5 cars including three Bentayga SUVs. Being the first ever Mulliner Bespoke Edition for India, the highlights here include its striking Scarab green paint from Mulliner coach build programme along with the interior depicting the Indian national colours.

Hence, the exterior is doused in this Scarab Green paint which cannot be ordered elsewhere while the Mandarin main hide represents the orange. The colour scheme is indeed different but works while subtle elements have also been peppered elsewhere including the depiction of wild horses and mountain peaks across the fascia representing traditional symbols of good luck and prosperity as per Indian feng shui.

The design was hand-drawn, and carefully applied to the fascia using a chrome overlay technique. The Opulence Edition Bentayga EWB Azure is the extended wheelbase Bentayga and comes with acres of space inside while it comes with a four-seat configuration with the Mulliner console bottle cooler separating the two rear seats. The contrast stitching in Mandarin is juxtaposed with contrast stitching in Cumbrian Green, which can be seen in the outer diamonds of the quilted seat inner areas and the Azure-embroidered headrests.

The Bentayga EWB gets power close doors from inside and you are cocooned here but its V8 powertrain is also suited for the driver with its dignified but enthusiastic power delivery. These cars evoke the vintage cars ordered by Maharaj’s along with bringing back the era of craftsmanship along with signifying the importance of the Indian luxury segment in terms of automobiles. Only five cars have been made for this special series and needless to say, all have been spoken for.
